With custom mountain lodge furnishings inspired by nature and the region's local history, most units include spacious kitchens with stainless steel European-style appliances, polished granite slab countertops, stack washer/dryer, and all utensils. With other conferencegoers, in a condo or townhome on site

  • Stay with others in a vacation townhome or condominium at Suncadia Resort. (See links for examples.)
  • A specific unit and set of roommates that match your gender preferences (shared during registration) will be assigned randomly.
  • All beds are single occupancy. Some beds are in a shared room, but some are in a separate room (and some even have a private bathroom).
  • A specific bed will not be assigned! Beds in each unit will be first-come, first-serve to continue the RosettaCon culture.

At the conference center, in a private room

  • Book your own accommodations at Suncadia Resort
  • Discounted Room Rate: $339
  • Discounted Room Rate Cut-off Date: July 8, 2024
  • Please call the conference center to reserve your sleeping accommodations. Reservations made after the cut-off date or after the group room block has been filled (whichever comes first) will be accepted on a space- and rate-availability basis. Rooms are limited, so please book early.

Elsewhere in Cle Elum

  • There are numerous alternative hotel options in the broader area.
  • These options require a 15-25 minute drive to reach the conference center.

Getting To The Venue:

Provided Shuttles

 

    • Shuttles have been arranged to take you from the SEA/TAC airport or the University of Washington to Suncadia Resort on August 5 and back on August 9.

 

    • Shuttles will run at various times throughout the day. Please input your travel details using this form.

 

    • Filling out the form is a requirement to reserve a spot on the shuttle, but you may also arrange your own travel to Suncadia at your own cost.

On your own

  • From Seattle: Drive east on I-90 for approximately 80 miles to the Roslyn/Salmon La Sac exit (exit 80). Turn left at the exit onto Bullfrog Road and follow the signs to Suncadia.
  • From Sea-Tac Airport: Follow signs for I-405 north. Proceed until the I-90 interchange and take I-90 east toward Spokane. Continue east on I-90 for approximately 80 miles to the Roslyn/Salmon La Sac exit (exit 80). Turn left at the exit onto Bullfrog Road and follow the signs to Suncadia.
  • From Spokane: Drive west on I-90 for approximately 215 miles to the Roslyn/Salmon La Sac exit (exit 80). Turn right at the exit onto Bullfrog Road and follow the signs to Suncadia.
  • From Portland: Drive North on I-5 into Washington State.  Take exit 142A to merge onto WA-18 east toward North Bend/ Auburn. Continue on Hwy 18 for approximately 28 miles then merge onto I-90 east via the ramp to Spokane. Continue east on I-90 for approximately 55 miles to the Roslyn/Salmon La Sac exit (exit 80). Turn left at the exit onto Bullfrog Road and follow the signs to Suncadia.
  • From Vancouver, British Columbia: Take Provincial Route 99 (crossing into Washington). Provincial Route 99 becomes I-5 South, follow for approximately 90 miles. Merge onto I-405 South and proceed until the I-90 interchange, take I-90 East toward Spokane. Follow I-90 for approximately 80 miles to the Roslyn/Salmon La Sac exit (exit 80). Turn left at the exit onto Bullfrog Road and follow the signs to Suncadia.
